    ...that the tyre dealer sticks on the invoice. The one that says check wheel nuts after 50 miles.

    Holy praise to disk locks as I noticed the left hand pinch bolts were coming adrift when fitting it at work today. Fortunately neither had pissed off completely and the right hand ones were really tight so my front spindle was still in place.

    Tyres were fitted about 500 miles ago. Oops.

    At least BMW give you a decent quality Torx wrench under the seat. Tightened up in the work car park then checked properly when I got home.

    Who's the knucklehead, the dealer mechanic or the guy sitting behind the handlebars?
    My manual clearly states to torque these each 3 times.

    tyre fitter at independent tyre depot that I have used multiple times - they offer a ride in, ride out service
