I had a nice ride on Sunday with my good mate on his Yamaha Tracer MT-09. Weather on the improve with lots of bikes on the road. Managed to see 4 R 1200RS. Its almost a gaggle of RS. All at Yea. Nice to see. We covered about 280 klms. Looking forward to next Sunday. Cheers leon

The only place I ever saw an R1200RS with my own eyes was at my dealer. I bought it...

I've been celebrating a wedding anniversary with my wife at the beach. We had to watch the weather closely due to Hurricane Irma, but we've managed to enjoy ourselves despite the wind and heavy seas. We are well out of harm's way (where Florida meets Alabama) and the good food and boat drinks keep worry at bay.

The really hot weather we've had in Louisiana seems to have ended; ushering in my favorite riding season. My friend, Briney Jim and I will be taking our Guzzis to Leesville, LA for the 2nd Annual Armadillo Rally on the 23rd. A college friend who is a central Louisiana radio personality has invited us to stay at his house. His booth will be adjacent to to the Moto Guzzi kiosk. The RS will get the call next, with a trip to the Texas Hill Country (Leander, TX) in October and the Swamp Scooter Gumbo Rally (Carencro, LA) in November.

    Happy days...
