Why do folks blank out their license plate in pics?

Maybe that's how "Depends" are packed in your country. Here in the US of A those are towels fresh from a laundry service.

Why do you have towels in the garage? And, why put them next to the second battery charger?
Speaking of battery chargers, how many battery tenders do you keep in that box marked battery tenders?
BTW - Have you ever met Lee from Iowa? He's another pretty garage guy. It's bi-level

OK, that was a first class response, but the thought of my fellow Pennsylvanians going "clothing optional" has me retching over the toilet. God created plaid to cover the Pennsylvania Dutch and no-one should ever mess with that...

I sometimes use towels to lay over different parts of the bike to protect painted surfaces from any damage while working on the bike and to lay painted parts on when they are removed.

Like Mr Vvrroomm and Duckbubbles I keep towels washed and in the garage specially for the bikes to protect surfaces and wiping the bike down. I wash the towels at home and then put them back on the shelf. Towels.jpg

    Darrell,
You seem to have a stack of laundered shop/bar towels. VVRROOMM appears to keep a supply of plush bath sheets.

However, your garage floor does seem similar to the one we have in the emergency room of our county hospital.

Since I've dissed all the pretty garages, here's a view from the other side of town. It's organized in a manner, but the Feng Shui is sorely lacking. Garage on the wrong side of town-3.png
Yes, the welcome mat to the second floor Man Cave is relocated to the bottom of the steps when the table saw is extracted from the parked position.

Still looks very neat and organised to me, guess that just reflects the mess of my own garage state!

That is one amazing garage. Far neater and cleaner than any part of my house, let alone my garage, the extent of which I try my best to crop out in my videos for that reason. If I had a garage like that I would probably put a couch in there, a TV and my computer and would spend all my time there. :)

I did it with Inkscape Freeware. It's not Adobe Illustrator or CorelDraw, but it's free.

At least here in the U.S. its for privacy, property and credit protection. Most of us use screen names on the internet, for a reason (maybe not so much on FB but then your "friends" are supposed to be your "friends". A license place is just one more link that data skimmers use to put a name to a face to a location, to a account. And sadly (yes I know a few), people even put their passwords, password clues or a portion thereof on their plates and vice versa. Sometimes the plate is the missing data field for miners and most of this is done via the internet and not even locally.

I blur mine because if I'm with a lady I shouldn't be (hopefully not one of you on this forum) then I have at least a 50/50 chance of getting away clean.....just my $.02 . ;-)

Love the tetherball trainer, must get one!

Back on topic. Covering license plates for forum pictures says more about the poster than about the risk.
