2017 Sept 2016 15k miles. Oil leak from somewhere on the left cylinder. Booked in at the dealer I'll update this when I know more.

    Update:
Seems that the left hand rocker cover surface finish is defective and preventing a proper seal against the gasket. Glad it's the cover not the head. Replaced with used as temporary fixed, new one on the way.

Tail light Assembly is loose. End lug under rear seat has snapped off. Hopefully will be covered under warranty with 1 day of warranty left. Fingers crossed.:)

OK...haven't seen this reported yet. Failed horn unit this September on my 2015. It started out sounding unusual the failed completely. Warranty covered it.

I see nothing in your post to apologise for and agree with you 100%. :)

I did have a good chuckle at the part about your wife's driving lack of finesse ... mine is the same but because I can be a prick sometimes I tell her and it does not always end well.

Problem is, she complains that the car's economy is not where she'd like it to be. This unreasonably lofty goal is to be achieved despite my suggestions as to how she should drive the car, and this after even she notes how I get more economy when I drive the same car! So guess what her solution is ... when we are together in her car I have to drive. She's a smart lady.

Mine regards a clutch as a switch. She has zero mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software empathy. If fact she bemoans switches and controls, thinking someone ought to have designed something by now to operate on female telepathy. Sitting beside her driving a manual car is torture. Right gear? Think of a number and swish the gearstick around like you're stirring a cake mixture until something happens. Things go wrong in our house just when she walks near them. In fact Bill Gates should have employed her as a Microsoft beta-tester; I get summoned to her PC screen and I couldn't get what's on the screen even if I were trying. The TV goes wrong when she's holding the remote, I ask her what buttons she's pressed and I get looked at like I'm stupid with a withering "How the hell should I know?" :-(

I know it's all my fault really.

Of course it your fault, you probably bought the TV with the funny remote, you perhaps advised on the car purchase. You are supposed to know exactly what she thinks without her saying anything. Of course the dinners she makes are always delicious and constructive criticism is just making a fuss over nothing. I think all wives must go on the same training course! I blame women's magazines, they read them and think they're equal (I am now a dead man!).:p

I've yet to meet a woman who thinks they are equal to men :-(

Aw, you poor things. If you want to know how difficult life can be, try living with another man! You either need a very large house with separate wings, a luxurious shed or preferably, separate residences.

Women, in my view, are far superior to men. Always have been.
    Some more so than others.

My pal's wife once accused us of moving third gear in his VW. 'It's not in the same place as it was yesterday, you two have moved it!' You couldn't make it up.

Push to cancel action on indicator switch action was not smooth and felt sticky.
Reported to dealer at second service and dealer replaced entire LH switch block under warranty (probably just needed some WD40 but I 'm not complaining)

Replacement of sub frame and centre frame under warranty - both were pitting all over and showing signs of internal corrosion.
Subframe was replaced without quibble but my centre frame replacement keeps getting cancelled - now 6 months since it was reported!
Not desperately pleased about the whole bike needing rebuilding by a dealer, but I wish they'd get on with it.
Love my RS but - seriously - are beemers normally this much trouble?

Well given that your's is the first I've heard needing replacing I'd say no. I did spray ACF50 in mine.
