I just bought a brand new r1200rs 2016 off the showroom floor and thought that I'd like the blue/wht but as it turns out, I like the black/grey better. I have seen some threads where some guys had the opposite feeling about the colors so if any of you gents would like to trade plastics, I would like to arrange a trade.

Plastics are absolutely flawless. I have had the bike for just over a month and about 2k miles.

What 24 hours? Round trip maybe. Tulsa OK to Houston TX is 8 hours. Unless TJ is living outside of that radius it could be less. Sounds like a ride for one (or both) is in order. Tools to remove all plastics are minimal, so maybe they can meet 1/2 way since this is a swap with no money involved. Change over in a Walmart parking lot ...? If that is the case they could do the ride and be back home by supper.

Lol....I gotta admit you had me there for a tic. I can ride to the southern tip of TX and back in 24. I was just gonna have the BMW dealer pull my plastics and install the new. (They said they could do it for 100 bucks). But...if it is that easy to do then I'm down for a halfway ride and find a parking lot.

Use a Macdonald's car park, you can then have plastic burger and fries while swapping plastics:p
