    Also bought the OEM side panniers for longer trips, a bit expensive, but got a good deal on them as well. 20170912_182655.jpg

    Glad you are enjoying the bike more even at this time.
    Actually is is categorized by BMW as a sport bike. Not even a sport-touring bike and definitely not a touring bike. :)

    lovely bike, coming over for the BSB at Assen at the end of the month and will be wandering around Holland for a few days so please can you ensure that it doesn't rain and the sun shines

    End of the month I'll be down in Italy, riding in the Dolomite mountains (also the Stelvio if possible), so cannot promise anything Graham. ;)

    Today really bad weather here, high winds and lots of rain, so left the RS covered up. Tomorrow hopefully some dry hours, to have time to install the mudsling and avantguard. Because coming weekend I have a 800 km (500 miles) trip planned to the north east of the country (Friesland and Groningen) and also an advanced driver course on Sunday. This course is given by an experienced police motorcycle instructor, who also drives a big boxer (RT), so hopefully get some good tips and advice from him.

    Please do your best to arrange for better weather at the end of the month, we are staying at Paping near Ommen and I wonder whether your trip to the north east goes anyway near there and if you would recomenrd the route. very jealous of your trip to Italy enjoy
