I guess I'm in the minority
But if the test ride of the H2SX goes okay then the BMW is gone.
It's a rough old lump and a bit too sluggish for its price point.
I don't agree about electronic suspension.
You are limited to presets, adjustability is far better.
It works well on the BMW, but after some time it's really a compromise.

I don’t think in these terms. Rough old lump? I wonder why you bought one. I could have plumped for more power and more adjustability for less money. The RS is what it is. For me, it works and provides great satisfaction. Nothing to add.

I really do understand where you are coming from. Every time I hear an i4 go past I wonder if I’m missing something.
I hope you enjoy the test, do report back and let us know what you decide.

I don't think I'll be riding an H2sx any time soon... My cheapest insurance quote came in over £1800

I'll check back again when I'm fifty and mature enough to handle such a beast

Sorry to burst your bubble, but you'll never be mature enough. :D Spoken from experience and being much older than 50. :D :D :D

Stuart, don't worry when you get to much older than 50 you won't remember enough to know if you have matured but i can promise you that you won't have done.

I'm a lost cause Graham, I still have to stifle a schoolboy snigger when I see someone has inappropriately defaced something with a dick drawing.

What hope is there of being a mature and responsible adult? None I tell you! :D

No, but hopefully you'll have enough money to spend on toys you only dreamed about before.

I don't see the point. I guess maybe if you live in Montana where you can go straight for miles without seeing anyone else. Here in the rest of the world, the road turns, people pull out of driveways, cars change lanes, children run into the street after balls etc.
All that power is good for one thing. Keeping your nuts warm in the winter...but then again, I don't ride all that much in the winter.
I own a smooth, linear inline and it's nice, but rather mundane if it's not screaming. Throbby twins feel more motorsickely to me.
