found my new favorite lunch stop in Fountain City, WI.
Maybe (never checked) but more a place you go for some good stew, mashed potatoes or pulled beef on sandwiches.
Wisconsin is a blast.
Looks like I forgot to post my pictures from this last summer. Thanks Darrell for your thread and pointing us to this good place to eat.
Places like this is a good reminder that life is too short for fast food joints
When traveling, we enjoy finding local places and we had a good time at this one.
The owner was a lot of fun. Even though it was raining he came out to visit while we were parking.
At first we had two parking spot, but when I looked at the clock and saw it was close to lunch time I moved into one spot.
He thanked me for only using one spot, then proceeded to make fun on me making sure the bikes were lined up
I can't remember what I had on him but I dished it right back and we had a good time picking on each other.
Tripping around the small towns in Wisconsin was always enjoyable when I lived there, genuine and real. The Irish and Italians got the food thing down, doubt I could ride very far after that bowl of stew.
Most of the time we don't eat lunch when riding because it makes Debbie sleepy, but we wanted to try this spot and with the rain it seemed like a good idea to take a break
