Completely loaded 2016 BMW R1200RS in Lupin Blue/Light Grey. Impeccable condition and the finest bike I've ever owned. I have the title in hand. Since starting my latest job a year and a half ago, I just haven't had the time to ride anymore. This bike needs to be ridden and not sitting in my garage. I'm listing the RS for $15,000.

I installed an SC Projects Titanium exhaust with carbon fiber cap. The original Chrome exhaust will come with the purchase. I removed the side baggage carriers for aesthetics, but they will come with the bike too.

Premium Package (includes Comfort and Touring Packages listed below)
    • Keyless Ride
    • Gear Shift Assist Pro
    Comfort Package
    • TPM (Tire Pressure Monitor)
    • Heated Grips
    • Chrome Exhaust
    Touring Package
    • Dynamic ESA
    • Saddle Bag Mounts
    • Luggage Grid
    • Center Stand
    • On Board Computer Pro
    • GPS Preperation
    • Cruise Control

    DTC (Dynamic Traction Control)
    Ride Modes Pro
    Anti Theft Alarm

60 month total Extended Service Contract (Transferable)
60 month total TireSafe Plus - Tires, Wheels, and Towing Contract (Transferable)

My bike is in perfect condition, I mean showroom. It only has 2111 miles and was purchased September 2015.

In addition, as stated above, I purchased the extended warranty for a total of 60 months. Also, I also purchased the TireSafe Plus Tire, Wheels, and Towing 60 month contract. The bike is exactly 2 years old and there are still 3 years remaining on the warranty.

This is an outstanding deal for the next owner. You will get a warranty that covers the length of a new R1200RS comes standard with 3 years. The bike was $19,135 new, so it's a considerable savings. Please don't come in with low ball offers.

I also have the BMW Motorrad Nav5 system for sale. I’ve give the new owner a great deal on the nav before selling it outright.

I am curious if this bike was affected by waters of Harvey?

I don't believe Harvey hit Austin.

Nice bike ... and pretty new too. Decent price.

Not trying to start a bidding war here, I'm out in Kauli-fornia! My RS is also for sale, what does "giving this a bump" mean?

Essentially it is bumping the post back to life by forcing a fresh re-read. If the post was not responded to will just sink to the bottom of the list of posts on the forum, and replying to the post bumps it back to visibility. :)

Considered selling mine also, but why are these so hard to sell? Dealer offered 8500, 1 year after paying 18,000 for it. Don't understand, and this is a free bump for your ad! lol

The RS is hard to sell for the same reason the sport tourer market has big challenges to it viability, as the people who like sport touring are moving on. WE all like the RS for well documented reasons but the rest of the market either want a dedicated tourer or a dedicated sport bike, or in the case of BMW, the GS which is a bike than can do a good job of touring, off roading and is decent in the twisties.

Dealer offered $8500 because he wants to make a big profit but in the meanwhile he is prepared to keep it in his stock for a little longer than normal.

As for the subject bike - it is an excellent bike for anyone who appreciates great motorcycles with soul. Good luck Christopher on the sale.

At least where I am it seems as if the used bike market is dragging. I'm having a hard time even getting responses trying to sell my HD Ultraclassic at a significant discount to the Blue Book wholesale price.

It’s super hard to sell a used bike these days. Seems the easiest way to move it is to trade it in and take a bath.
