I traded in my '14 GS for a '17 Triumph Bonneville T120. I previously had a '07 T100 so I thought after ten years it was time for another Bonneville.
PS: I don't know what's going on with Photobucket, I have not erased nor moved the photos I posted below!!!!!!

Just sold my 2007 T100 Bonnie for a complete change: the RS.
But looking at your new '17 Bonnie gets me drooling again, Gordon. But without even having a garage, one bike is the limit :(

First, it won't replace a bike like the RS, it's not a highway long hauler. But it has many good attributes: it handles very light and quick, the engine is very smooth, the transmission is very smooth, and the chicken strips are almost gone with only 250 miles on it. It is a pleasure and very easy to ride.

It's biggest plus is its looks, I love it. It's not a performance rocket, but, like I said, it's a pleasure to ride and that's what it's all about.

Ooops, that was you, runnerhiker, not Gordon.
    But my comment remains true:
Just sold my 2007 T100 Bonnie for a complete change: the RS.
But looking at your new '17 Bonnie gets me drooling again. But without even having a garage, one bike is the limit :(

First step towards buying an RS in Winter of 2018 (or maybe 19) is this bike. It is a new addition for a 58 year old to try to cheat bodily injury. Setting it up for Single track mostly. It is a 2017 Yamaha YZ 250 X. Pretty well the same as the age old YZ motocrosser except that it has a wide ratio gearbox, lighter clutch, lower compression, re valved suspension for trail work, different porting, pipe and ignition all geared towards a smoother, lower RPM response. I have yet to read a bad review or heard of a dissatisfied owner.
Pretty smart of Yamaha to make a new bike with just tuning tweaks. It compares very favourably with the Dominant KTMs and Husqvarnas. The age of the 2 stroke might be near an end. 229 pounds all gassed up. (About like me)
