Lithium Ion Battery Ok I know that this has been discussed in the past. But because there is no clear cut answer as to whether our bikes will have problems, I thought at a cheap price it might be worth trying ???

Lithium ion batteries have an issue with the temperature from people who have tried them on other forums, when the temp gets down to freezing they won't perform and won't charge.
Best to check this out before you take the plunge.

We've all noted the advantages and risks of the various forms of LI batteries. Several from well established companies. Not sure what the logic is looking at "cheap" to find a better solution.

the only good time to buy a cheap battery is just before you sell a bike...

I may try one because I thought they were a lot more expensive. So if I am not happy It wont be to much investment to change back

    Why?
    What is the weight saving?
    1 or 2kg?
I assume for me (over 12 stone !!!!) a diet would probably save more excess. ( I am not overweight I am under tall = just need to be 7ft tall)
