Had mine painted exactly the same three weeks ago, going to add an RS logo to them very shortly.

image.jpeg image.jpeg I like the paint scheme and may do mine similar some day. For the time being I have chosen to just use a little highlighting.

I lile your highlighting on the panniers. Maybe a mix of the blue white with highlights could be an idea.

I think I like the blue panniers with white highlight better. The other way around makes the bike too white, whereas the blue ties the front cowl to the back nicely. Of course preferences will vary. :)

Of course, the best solution would be to buy a granite bike to match the panniers ;)

    You're welcome.

Fits very nice the colour scheme:):), I like also your S2 :).
But the topcase has to be changed in colour, don't you think so too?!

I like the simple blue Derricka.
    I can't do it myself.
If I have a local firm do it (UK) what kind of price is fair? Does anyone have an idea?

William, it aint cheap, the paint & etching primers etc. cost me about £168.00. It would seem the only place to get this paint is R&S paints, I have dealt with them in the past, and they are good, but like I said not cheap. The paint is water based (most painters prefer the other) and I suppose it depends on how well you know your painter as to how much he will charge. I have a tame one £60.00 but expect between £100_ £200. I have finished mine with R1200 RS decals made especially by A to Z in Newcastle £20.00 the pair, apparently someone on the site said you can get them from BMW for about £50.00 each. Now there's a surprise. I've never posted pictures before but if I can figure it out, I'll do it. Any more info, please ask.

Thanks Terry. Very helpful. I'll find the cash and move it forward. Cheers.
