I got my RS broken in and changed the oils yesterday morning, then took her up to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Today I rode to the infamous Dragon, Moonshiner/Hellbender area. I'm still getting used to it but what a fantastic mountain bike. Confidence inspiring on entry and incredibly stable thru out.

    What a bike!!!!!!

Have to agree. I'm not sure I have ever owned a bike I want to ride more than the RS. When I look at her in the garage I just want to go and not stop.

Speaking of the RS, I was visiting my dealer last Saturday and didn't see any RS models on their showroom floor, but I did see three new 2017 R12R bikes. The salesman told me that they had sold out of their RS allotment, but if anyone wanted an R-bike they had plenty of those to sell. ;)

Just back from a 2-up 4th of July ride in East County San Diego in the twisties. 1st time I've had a pillion other than my daughter in years (all my other GF's rode or just didn't get to ride w/me!). Love this bike! I feel like I can just body steer it all day. Clean pulls out of the turns and what amazing balance! Maybe a top-box for those days when I do carry pillion (I think they are hideous but they serve a few purposes-first most is they save me from launching someone into space). One of the best bikes I have ever ridden. Rode a Duc Multistrada for an hr today when we switched and, loved the power, hated the ride. Glad I made the purchase I did!

I agree, and an owner does not realize the true balance until some twisty roads are enjoyed. Riding with the high HP sportbike guys has them confused...a BMW boxer just left me in the corners. Fun fun.
