I have been enjoying the great run of weather here in vic. I had I great mid week ride around the Otway's two weeks back, with a stay in Apollo bay, then a very quite early morning run down the ocean rd. I had it all to my self. Yesterday I headed of to Mt buffalo via Whitfield. Also over to Bright, Mt beauty and over the happy valley, rose white rd. for and overnight stop in myrtelford. back home via Whitfield again with very little to no traffic. dam it work tomorrow.
That's a beautiful weekend worth of riding, and you had the perfect mild weather. I think I saw you parked at Tawonga Gap lookout on Wednesday afternoon as I drove past heading to Bright - rare to see a Blue/White like mine in the area!
hi there alpine, that was me overlooking the valley about 4.30, five. it had been a great day. Well were you guys going. could not have been to far, started to get dark at 5.30 and the bugs were coming out in force.
We were just heading back to Bright (where we live) - had been over to the back of falls (via car unfortunately) - reminded me that I need to do the Omeo or Mitta loop on the RS before the weather turns. Might be too late given the second round of snow flurries has just hit Falls and Hotham :-(
