    Hello to all!

My name is Gerald, mid 50, motorbike fan since I have been a child :)
Beside 3 oldtimers (BSA, HOREX, Moto Guzzi) there now is a R1200RS from 11/2016 in my small fleet ;) because I need one bike for driving not only for screwing... Can´t wait for the new season....

Hi and welcome to the forum.
And for those who wish to improve their language skills (because all german speakers know what he meant :D)

„To screw“ translates into „schrauben“. We use this word as well when speaking about working on our bike or car as a hobby. That’s where his translation derived from. May be „to tinker“ would have been better, or how do native speaker name that hobby?
