On my way from MN to see the Nascar Hall of Fame in Charlotte, NC and needed to stop for a home made fudge fix. Third time in five years I've stopped by. Fun general store to hang out in or even enjoy breakfast or lunch. Owned by the same family since it was built. IMG_3221.JPG IMG_3222.JPG IMG_3223.JPG IMG_3224.JPG IMG_3225.JPG IMG_3220.JPG

Nice pics, Darrell. Reminds me of the Oark General Store where we had lunch only this looks like it is more store than restaurant. :)

It is more store and serves a large area. There were about 10 locals in there having breakfast / coffee when we stopped around 0900. A cafe, hardware, agriculture supply, groceries, sweets type store.

I liked it because it was a genuine old time General Store.
You're not missing out on any good mid-west weather. Wet and cold.

I hear the weather is not good back in the Midwest. I've had 5 rain free days spending the last 2 riding in the Appalachians. NASCAR Museum tomorrow and then back to the Appalachians for a few more days and then heading for home. Bike rolled over 30,000 miles yesterday and still runs like when it was new.

    Darrell,
Glad you are having a good time. It seems you have a lot of luck for avoiding riding in the rain! Can you loan some of it to the rest of us? ;) And what road is the store on? May need to stop by there since you ate all the fudge! :D
    Stay safe my friend.

Located on TN 127 just south of the KY border and just north of Pall Mall, TN. They were making more fudge when I was there so should be some for you. As far as loaning you some luck on not riding in the rain, no go. I continue to use all I have. Been on some wet roads this trip but yet not a mile with rain coming from above. Getting home tomorrow as weather pushed us out of the Appalachians. Did take a day off and watched it rain all day. Be safe out there.

Thanks for the location info. Will have to check it out. I understand about the rain riding luck, if I had the same luck I would't share it either! :D Glad you had a save trip.
