Has anyone tried that combination or should I fit an 01 and keep them both matching ?
On the basis of posts on the forum, I have changed my worn out front Metzler with a Dunlop. I have an 01 Metzler on the back until it wears out, then the Dunlop will go on.
I don't expect problems with a mixed set.
LeonP, I'm a matched pairs man. I think with the different profiles you will feel some 'oddities' in the handling department.
Round and rubber, mount 'em up
Attached the possible combinations released in Germany.
Every day's a school day - thanks !
Thank you all for your input. Here are my Tyre / Tires replacements in Kilometers.
Original Set Metzeler Z8. Rear replaced at 12600 Km.
" Front " " 13500 Km.
Next Rear Michelin Rear " " 20800 Km. Only managed 8200 Km.
Next Front Michelin Front " " 27000 Km. Same Distance as the Metzeler Z8
The Metzeler Z8 Tyres, which I didn't want have impressed me more than the Michelin.
Tyres and the colour of our bikes are things we will never all agree on which is just as well otherwise we would all be riding those Lupin Blue ones. LOL.
Why is there no unlike button when you need one
LOL. I thought you could take a joke Andy. I must admit I was hoping someone would bite. Cheers Leon
There's undercoat, grey primer and Lupin Blue for the complete colour finish.
Nice 1 Dave. lol
