I took one for a 1 hour test ride. First impression is that you're seated high just like on a dirt bike as you reach out to what seems to be motocross handlebars. Riding position is very upright just like a dirt bike. I'm not sure how comfortable that would be on an all day ride. The riding position worked well in the twistys as it allowed you to use full leverage. The suspension in ROAD Mode was a tad firm but, worked brilliantly when encountering road ireggularities. I didn't switch it to SPORT Mode. The seat felt hard at first but, I didn't even notice it for the remainder of the 1 hour. Windshield provided decent wind protection although, I imagine it's not too good for rain riding. The motor supposedly has 170 ponies but, it seemed to be in a rather mild state of tune. Good enough for sport touring with lots of torque but, when I heard 170 hp, my mind imagined a real brute of a motor. I had a few fuel snatches when applying throttle at low RPM a few times but, it was mostly unobtrusive. I was expecting a Ducati-like soundtrack but, it seemed a bit more subdued. For a v-twin, it was a very smooth motor. Maybe too smooth for me. I'm a Guzzisti and love me some thumping. Maybe an aftermarket pipe would fix that. I'm not a fan of the origami bodywork.
