Since I am married to a woman of good taste, I left the color decision to her. As she will follow me on her own RnineT, she will have to look at my bike’s color more often than me sitting on it, anyway! She decided for the light-grey version, with an AC Schnitzer exhaust, a shorter Wunderlich rear end, and several carbon gizmos. I am as happy with her choice, as I am happy with her!

Schnitzer exhaust and carbon bits. You are a very lucky man. Welcome.

Welcome and congrats. You will love the bike as much as your wife, i guess :) Sad you didn't take the blue and white. It is 100 % sure (just ask around in the forum) that it is the fastest one :)
Hope to se you around in europe some time. I noticed on a trip to the alps in June with a frine on a R1200 GS. We met 1 million GS' and no one of them spoke to each other, we also met 8 RS and i talked to all of them when it was possible :) IMG_1849 Gerhard Brundig - Witzenhausen.jpg

Very sadly, BMW does no longer offer the blue and white color combination!
I truly love your photo of your blue and white beauties in front of the snow-covered Alps! Being Austrian national, the Alps are my true natural habitat!
However, my new bike will be registered in Spain. And with it's light-grey color it may blend-in just as nicely with the Spanish beaches, as yours does with the Alpine snow in the background!
Hope to see you in the Alps or in the Sierra, some day!

I am sure the light-Grey wil blend the Spanish beaches and i wish you all the best with your new bike. I have never been to Spain but maybe some day. Have heard the roads in Sierra should be awsome :)

Between you and me: The Sierra is motorbiking heaven: The region offers a unique combination of curvy mountain roads, spectacular sea views, mostly good pavements (subsidized by the EU...), very friendly people, good food, low prices, and nice temperatures and golden sunlight at this time of the year. Just don´t tell this to anybody - I want the roads to stay as empty as they are;...!;):D

@Gerhard S. I thought you were referring to the Sierra Nevada Mountain range in NorCal as motortbike heaven. ;)

Congrats on the purchase. As many have already said, it is a great bike!!!

The NoCal Sierra Nevada is just as nice as it’s Spanish counterpart! Used to live at Lake Tahoe for several years, know the area well and am still in love with it! However, at this time of the year, I much prefer “Sierra sin nieve” for motorbiking. “Nevada” translates into “snowy” ...;)
