Today I call on all RS lovers that we have an International Meet. Well three of them actually. Americas-Europe-Pacific Asia.
What's the cost on shipping from England to New York?
How long can I ride for before I need to ship to Oz?
To much to soon? Then why isn't there a meet in the UK, Bikes n Brews? I'd ride out to Portree knowing that there are fellow RS ownies on the same journey.

Hi CJ, I think the idea of a meet-up for RS riders would be fun. Personally I find time is my biggest challenge but if there was a UK venue that could be reached by many within a weekend, then I for one would be interested to join in. Generally I ride alone (or with pillion) as I'm not too interested in group rides, but having a destination and meeting with other riders always adds to the pleasure. Hope you generate some interest.

In general boxerboy I to am a lone rider, sometimes there's two of us take the mickey out of the guy in the hogging the middle lane with his cosmetically challenged wife...
In turn though it'll be great, as you say, to have a destination to go to where we know and love the machine where all on. I've been to meets where there's a lot of different styles of bikes, RS are still rare, be good to share others peoples thoughts face to face.

Let's make it happen, rules of engagement:
    Highest road.
    Highest road with pub.
Highest road with pub with good grub.
Highest road must have good twisties leading to it (they all generally do).
I'm in Lancashire, wether it's Wanlockhead, Tan Hill, Tafarn Sinc or Sainsburys car park in Macclesfield. It's all good, it's about the people as long as no one mentions LEDs of eBay....

In theory I'd be up for a meet, always like any excuse for a ride out!
My issue is always dates though... my weekends are pretty much booked up till September already, so only suggestion I'd make would be plenty of notice :)

Plenty of notice for everyone. September looks good, still warm days and cool nights.
Right the first location vote next:-
    England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland?

    I vote Wales.

    Stelvio Pass in northern Italy:

It is all there, pubs on top and bottom, great twisting roads all around and the best pass of them all in Europe! The Dolomites are close by as well, it is right in the corner between Austria, Italy and Switzerland, easy to get there...

    Tan Hill
    17th and 18th September
Someone can plan a ride through the great loop of Yorkshire Dales, Forest of Bowland, Lake District then North Pennines. Passing examples, Ingleton, Dunsop Bridge, road to Ulpha (a must), Hardknott and Wrynose passes, Alendale Road. Or go where the hell you want and meet up later for tales.
