    Hi everyone!
Just joined having fallen in love with the RS a couple of months ago and after I sold my Street Triple which had been a lot of fun, I found a nice ex-demo model at Chandlers in Brighton.
Great ride back from there which was quite an introduction to the bike! So glad the weather has been kind to me and been able to get out in the dry.
Looking forward to picking up some great mod tips - a better screen has to be one of my first purchases :)

    Cheers for now!

Thanks everyone for your welcome messages - just been checking out the options on liners for the stock panniers that I bought with the bike. Like many here I really can't bring myself to pay the premium for the BMW bags so I'll go with the cheap GreatBikersGear.com ones that are on ebay. I figure for occasional use they should be good enough.
Now for screen and engine bars... I've been recommended the MRA Vario screen, which looks like it should do the job. The Wunderlich bars on Nippy Normans look like a good option, but I've not really looked at any other yet.

I have fitted Wunderlich engine bars on my bike, you won't go fare wrong with them.

    Hi Nick,
Welcome to the forum. You are in good company here - we all feel the same about the RS.
The engine bars are a good start for your mods. I got my dealer to fit them, and I am very happy with them. They give a sense of security.
I've gone for a darker screen, for cosmetic reasons, but the size is exactly the same as the original. I don't find it a problem, but I'm quite small.
You'll find no shortage of suggestions on this forum for things to add to your bike. In the end it is the ride that counts. Enjoy.
