Most of November its been raining down here in Victoria, BC. Normally that wouldn't bother me much, but I'm on a medical leave from work and my Doctor says no riding until I get better and get off the pain killers. On those rare sunny days I've snuck the bike out in the morning for short rides around town. Skipping the pain killers until I can't stand it; then return for a double dose of pain killers and a nap in front of the fire. By the 30th I'll be back to as close to normal as I will ever get and will just ride. We can ride through the winter here. I just leave the bike in the garage whenever there is frost or the temp drops below 5*C. I'm thinking I'll have a friend of mine make me a pair of Goretex handle bar muffs.

I'm done. Bike's all tucked away under its nice fleece cover. But I did get on it yesterday and try out my new Alpinestars GP Plus gloves and make some vroom-vroom noises for awhile...

Sorry to hear that Bravo. I'll probably be able to spot you at a distance as the one doing the wheelie off the ferry :D

Well, the weekend at Philip Island was fine weather, meant to be 28 degrees C, but crept up to 30 - 32 on the Saturday and Sunday.
I did not ride on Monday due to a work commitment, but yesterday, it was low to mid-20 degrees and it may get up to 24 today. Fine, fair weather.
Days like today can be had in all of our seasons in Melbourne.
The whole idea of putting a bike up for the winter is just so sad for you guys in the Northern Hemisphere, but I guess it gives you time to read a few good books...
