Outside this morning. Weather man earlier had called for 9*c which would be ok. Next weekend may be ok but we are walking on thin ice here - pardon the pun. Our only hope is if my company misses two contracts we are hoping for then wife and I will buy a diesel bus motorhome and head back south for the winter. With that I will install a motorcycle hoist and take the RS with us.

Yeah, rub it in . . . . :) It's the same in Norway as well. Maybe possible a very few rides, but then it's over for this season.

I've had between 2 & 7 "snow days" (= bike stays in garage/I have fun with dog) most winters but not a single one last winter! Worst is when it snows a bit while I'm at work & I have to get the bike back home!

Well, I made my "payment" to the weather gods by living through Houston summer. Now is the payoff. :)

Can't wait for my bike to be back and my leg to heal up some more (end of November).

Move out East : all we got this weekend on PEI was 100mm of rain with 100 km/ h winds!

42 degree F when we headed south for Arkansas Sunday and the forecast called for 32 at home in Iowa last night.
Perfect riding today with sunny skies and 80 degree F.
A little damper on the trip when someone backed into Deb's bike the first morning, knocking it over and left.
Snapped off right mirror and front brake lever and some minor scraches.

Sorry to hear about Deb's bike being knocked over. I've never understood how someone can just drive away.

At least it's rideable. We did lose a day of riding due to police report, insurance calls and emailing pics.
I was able to make a temporary fix to the mirror mount with JB Weld and today she said the short brake lever was fine.

Sorry to hear of that. Some people just have no class, causing you loss, inconvenience and negativity just because they can get away with it.

Agree with all comments about the low-life that fails to act with honour.

A pox on them and on their house!

I can tell you that our riding season is over in Alberta, we came back from a motorcycle trip in Italy on October 1 and had snow on the ground October 8 and received more last week end. At least our riding season ended on a positive note we rode 9 days in Italy in the Tuscany region and had 0 days of rain temp in the mid 20 perfect riding weather. Now will have to wait for spring

No snow here in Newfoundland - yet!
We just had an awesome riding day with the temperature hitting 22 degrees C. One of those tropical storms coming through - fortunately I was able to get out before the torrential rain came down and had a great ride.
Temps going back down to normal this week, but no snow in the forecast....

Still going here on PEI. I went over to the mainland last Wednesday for a 600 km ride down by theBay of Fundy. Grey and a bit drizzly, but it got up to 9C for a while, and it was still fun (electric jacket really makes the difference!) Now I have a date to go to Moncton for a new fork seal next Wednesday: we'll see how that works out...

Warmer than normal temps the last few weeks.
Motorcycle ride yesterday and bicycle ride today.
So far we have not needed to turn on the furnace in the house.

Well typical Alberta snow is long gone and warm sunny days at least for another week or so. Rode today and got home just before rain (the liquid kind not white).

And I did 500 km yesterday, lowest temp 4C, highest 11C. A bit nippy heading out, but the ride home was great.
