Certainly unique, to say the least.
125 bhp, t-shirt and shorts, . I suppose it is warm over there though. I do like the bit about the bike being built fat not tall.
It was uploaded a couple of days a go. It can go easily over 31°C (~87°F) in Crete during this time of the year.
That was fun to watch, never seen a test quite like it!
Not a thumbs up from me. I prefer some insight in a review.
I thought it was meant to be funny more than anything else although he did touch on many of the main features and a couple of faults (as he saw them). I don't think that after seeing the initial ride up the mountain side on a gravel road wearing no protective gear one could expect a serious review.
Right after test riding my '16RS I was still undecided if this was really the bike for me. A vigorous shaking on the centerstand sealed the deal
It seems strange that it looks like a cycle review made by Monty Python, yet factual is correct.. and some fancy effects here and there..
First review I've seen - written or video - where the reviewer explained all of the electronics as well as the wonder wheel. I assume it didn't have ESA since he clutched every gear change. Great job. I was momentarily concerned that there might be an Oh-No moment coming as he threw a leg over the bike in those short shorts. But thankfully we were spared.
And I bet the Aussies had the least trouble with his accent - it is pretty standard over here, with Melbourne being such a large Greek community. A decade or two ago, a Greek cruise liner sank off the coast of South Africa; and the Capitan was off first, with the woman and children. His "heroism" was not well received, and he was interviewed on SA TV. I got a real laugh because he spoke pretty good broken Greek / English - perfectly understandable. However, in SA they had put sub-titles on for their viewers!
It did have ESA (upper part of the fork (praised by our reviewer) has the "golden" colour). It did not have the Gear Assist Shift Pro (GASP) or it did and the reviewer simply didn't use it. It did not have the "Keyless Ride", nor the Navigation Preparation.
Hey I remember the Oceanos sinking. First time in years I've been reminded of it.
My folks were meant to go on it literally days later and then we got the news of the disaster.
I would certainly take her for a spin...
Especially with a person sitting on it at the time.
Exactly my take on it ...! I thought it was a bit of a spoof but then he sat down and went over the pros and cons and it got more serious ...
Hehehehe .... me too ...
Excellent review... I think he should do a 1000RR next ....
Here's a review on the 2017 RS, a bit boring compared to the Greek Movie. Still loved reading it, as I will pick up one exactly as the one in the review (apart from the speedometer, only KM's/hr on mine, making the numbers a tad larger thus easier to read)
