That said the matte finish hides smudges and fingerprints and dirt brilliantly. Leaves more time to ride! That said, though, there is nothing to beat a glossy black bike for aesthetics.

So there I was yesterday tossing up in my mind whether I liked the matte primer or wait a few months to see the gloss black while the dealer did his level best to flog me the blue that he had on the floor and I had just tested. Apparently the blue goes faster, lives longer, enhances sex appeal, takes 10 years off, is slimming, cures constipation...left me in no doubt he reads this forum cos I've heard it all before right here. Anyway I decided...to visit another dealer. I ended up more than a bit annoyed by the BS. Of course as soon as I signalled that I wasn't signing he was suddenly no longer my best friend.

IMO shiny black bikes look great when clean. Can be difficult to keep that way at times. They also look fantastic in blue, grey, primer, custom red, I'm OK with doug, and I'm sure the bronze will be great.

Great looking bike Graham. Enjoy riding it.

Pinstripes! Ok on a suit, bit surely a bit passé on a modern motorcycle?

A lovely medium blue and a white tinted with grey. The colors of a beautiful sky.

Surely you jest...... Not that I'm old enough to have ever seen one in Cycle Guide, Cycle or Cycle World magazine, but, I've heard, BMW used to have ads featuring an attractive 30~40 year old blonde woman that painted pinstripes. Everyday, she painted pinstripes by hand.

Now, she may have been fictional, created in some ad agency, but I liked her pinstripes. They added something to the aesthetic void of a gloss black paint scheme.

You mean the Lupin Blue. I just love it when people try lots of words to say very little. I must admit that the Lupin Blue was my choice until I looked at the bike in a Bike Shop. The colour just did nothing for me.The bike looked slow. The Grey looked fast and a weapon. Like a Bull ready to charge. BUT I must admit if the White one was available with that red frame that would have been my first option. Just as well we all have different tastes, otherwise we all would be driving and riding white vehicles.LOL.:);)

Took the words right out of my mouth. :D

I think I prefer the gloss black one to the white with red frame colour scheme. With gold pinstriping / decals ... JPS style, but subtle That would be sweet. Who knows ... one day maybe "Grump the Grey" might become "Grump the Black". :)

We call vacations, vacation and call a holiday, holiday.
I think Canada refers to a vacation as a holiday??

When you goes on vacation they are on holiday. July 1st (4th for Americans) is a holiday not a vacation. I guess all vacations are holidays but holidays are not necessarily vacations.

Either way you're not at work. :D

OK, now explain going to Hospital. In the USA version of correct, The Hospital is a building/facility that we go to for medical care.
