Hi Bob, too bad about having to cut the trip short, but glad you and Ron made it back ok after all. And that's quite a write up from Ray, go doc!
What a great group. I am looking forward to next year.

    Hey GG,
Did you post Day 2 of your video? If so where is it? Lee says he found it, but I've searched high and low and can't work out where it is.
    Thanks,
    Mike

I was looking for something else and happened to see his day 2 video.
When I searched for it, I got a lot of goat videos :)

Mike - Looks like Lee looked on the channel and not on this thread, but not to worry he embedded it above. :)

I still have Day 2 part 2 in the editing queue right now - the ride we went on together. Am a bit under the weather presently (touch of bronchitis and allergies) but as soon as that lets up I will continue with editing. :)

Don't trust your GPS for gas locations :)

My Nav V also showed a she'll gas station where Wayne was looking. It's the map that's at fault, not the device. Tomorrow I might try to report a correction to Garmin.

    That's correct.
It's not unusual for a location to be wrong or they have gone out of business.

Navteg used to provide the maps for Garmin. Not sure if they still do.
I've reported a couple incorrect roads to Navteg in the past and they corrected them.
I don't know if Navteg also provides the POIs for Garmin.

I know I'm late to the party. I happened to be at Oark General store when several of you pulled in. This was before I owned my RS so I apologize for drooling on some of your bikes in the parking lot - LOL. I spoke with two chaps from Illinois for a few minutes inside the Cafe.

I host two motorcycle events at the Hub in Marble Falls each year and it is a great place to gather since several of our group like to camp while others like to motel it. I used to host one event in Eureka Springs but couldn't find accommodations for both campers and motellers so I moved. I haven't regretted the decision as the riding out of Marble Falls is even better than Eureka and the area is less crowded.

Not trying to change this event in any way but I always like to have options so I thought I would pass this information along. I'm lucky I live in some of the best riding in the middle of the country. If anyone is coming to the Ozarks, send me a PM and I can offer route advice or meet for lunch somewhere. If there is another event in Arkansas I will certainly try to attend.

Thanks. Fun to watch the bike from both behind and later, in your mirror. Those Darlas are bright.
