Hi Andy, me too ! but fwiw Bravo has assured me that he will look after us, not sure if that's before or after the "initiation ceremonies" - gulp, perhaps hiring that Gel saddle isn't such a bad idea after all :) looking forward to seeing you there....
    Cheers
    Alex

Somewhere between 20 and 30 bikes,it'll be weather dependant for some people I guess, those of us who travel a couple of hundred miles to be there do the run regardless :)

GCHQ has been picking up chatter from phone calls, monitoring Social Meeeeedja and came to the conclusion that something BIG is going to happen,SOMEWHERE and SOON.
Yes Ladies its only one week until The South West Rideout :)
Leaving Taunton heading for the first break at Minehead via Dunster.
Up Porlock Hill across the top to The Old Station House at Blackmoor Gate for lunch.
A quick splash and dash for fuel in Barnstaple then it's off to Torrington for the next stop.
The final leg back to Taunton is the longest and fastest. ;)
I'm looking forward to meeting you members who are planning to attend, maybe a few more localish may rock up.
Feel free to bring your mates and PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU'RE FUELLED UP BEFORE YOU ARRIVE AT TESCO,we don't plan to stop till Minehead.
Fingers are now well and truly crossed for nice weather.

Well, I said I would be too busy, new kitchen being fitted, walls to paint etc but I did manage 50 miles on the RS this week and somehow returned home with a full tank of fuel, just in case? Not too far, 50 miles to Taunton.
Hopefully able to get out some time Saturday but if not hope you have a great time.

Weather looks pretty good for Saturday John. I have a belated birthday pissup in the evening (mine) back in Guz.
Might slip away at the western point (Torrington or Oakehampton if you go that far down).
Thats a nice and fairly big loop for me as a day out then.
I often ride over Princetown/Moretonhampstead/Crediton/Tiverton/Wellington and back around the Moor - nice route to Taunton that...
    See you Sat guys, Steve.

Thanks for the heads up Steve,I keep checking my weather apps daily but it's always best to have a local eye on it.
You'll have to let us know on the day when you plan to peel orf or we'll be riding around looking for you:)
See you at Tesco on Saturday.

2000 is a hell of a big party. Do you need a live band? Classic Rock. Special mates rates?
Have a great ride out. And keep safe all.

Lol me and my terrible punctuation :)(I'll put it right). I'm hoping that the attendees from the forum will give enough positive feedback about this weekend to tempt other forum members to attend(including you).
This was put together in 2004 on the SV 1000 forum and has been running twice a year since,we've made some great friends with people we've met on this run.
The sv ers have dropped by the way side over the years and it's only us hardcore that travel these days,it would be a shame to see it die out. .... a chance to have a ride with a great bunch of people,I'm a bit of a cunt but the rest are alright ;)

Well.... took longer than expected and two walls were only finished today, lunchtime, and are unlikely to be dry enough to paint until sat pm.
Better take the expert advice and wait but sat night and sunday may be busy!
